What’s the role of public banks' in implementing financial instruments that support EU cohesion policy

19 April 2018

EAPB is participating at the European Week of Regions and Cities (EWRC). The EWRC is a series of seminars and workshops organised by the Committee of the Regions (CoR) and the European Commission’s Directorate General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG Regio).

The aim of EAPB's workshop will be to highlight regional and national public banks‘ involvement in the implementation of financial instruments which support EU cohesion policy and further discuss their future role in promoting and supporting the policy’s objectives. EAPB members will share experiences gained and best practices of public banks implementing financial instruments to support regions and cities and they will provide insights into their activities and the challenges they are facing. Furthermore, EAPB members and representatives of the institutions will exchange views on the upcoming Multiannual Financial Framework.
