Mr. Philippe Mills, CEO at SFIL and President of EAPB participates in the 6th Climate Finance Day in Paris on Oct. 29

Placed under the High Patronage of Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic and powered by the French Minister for the Economy and Finance, the 6th Climate Finance Day was fully dedicated to the theme “Sustainable finance: how to reboot the European real economy?”


This year’s edition focused on the EU policies as well as local issues. It also showcased public and private financial mechanisms and tools available (or to be designed) in order to meet the needs of the different sectors of the European economy. Spearheading financial innovations for the green transition, the European financial industry should mobilize to support the implementation of the green deal and serve the needs of the real economy.

Mr. Philippe Mills, participated in the second round table entitled “Make the Green Deal Finance the real economy and the territories”. He stressed the importance of innovation when it comes to regulation, the EU Taxonomy is an essential step but further progress is necessary.
