CDP and Finlombarda together with Banca Finint renew "ELITE Basket Bond Lombardia": the second 15 million euro issuance of Bomi Italia S.p.A. is launched

Milan, September 7, 2020 – Through the second closing of 'ELITE Basket Bond Lombardia' program, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti (CDP) and Finlombarda, the public promotional financial entity of the Lombardy Region, confirms their commitment to finance the development plans in Italy and abroad of Lombardy's companies. The 100 million program, launched together with Banca Finint started on 16 December 2019 with the first issuance of minibonds for 17 million euro.


Bomi Italia S.p.A. has issued a minibond with a duration of 8 years by participating to the second closing of the program. The operating holding of the Italian Bomi Group is active since 1985 in biomedical logistics and management of high technology products for health protection and is controlled by the pan-European fund Archimed, . Through this minibond it will be able to raise resources for 15 million euros in order to finance investment and development plans on the national and international market. The company belongs to the ELITE program, the private market of the London Stock Exchange Group, which connects companies to different sources of capital to accelerate their growth.

CDP and Finlombarda, acting as anchor investors in the transaction, both subscribed 50% of the total amount of these two issues of the program. In the operation promoted by ELITE, Banca Finint acted as arranger, through its subsidiary FISG.

The results obtained with the first two closing of the program prove the capacity of CDP, through a solid partnership with the regional finance, to support the growth program of companies”
