NRW.BANK cooperates with fintech company CommneX - Partnership creates new digital interface for municipal customers

NRW.BANK expands its cooperation with digital financing portals and cooperates with fintech company CommneX. Starting 2021, municipal enterprises can access promotional funds made available by North Rhine-Westphalia’s promotional bank on the Munich-based start-up’s Germany-wide platform.

“We have been using online platforms for quite some time now to support the local authorities in NRW with our promotional funds for their investments,” says Michael Stölting, member of the Managing Board of NRW.BANK. “Starting 2021, our cooperation with CommneX will give municipal enterprises additional digital access to our promotional products.”

CommneX is a Munich-based fintech start-up and operator of the financial brokerage platform for the public financial market of the same name. Going forward, selected promotional programmes of NRW.BANK will be presented on this platform and be updated continuously. “NRW is the heavyweight in Germany’s public financing market. Being the local port of call, NRW.BANK is the best possible partner for us to further establish the digital provision of promotional funds for financial authorities,” says Carl v.
