Over PLN 50 million on BGK’s account for payments to help Ukraine
15 April 2022So far over PLN 50 million was donated to the special account that Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) opened on behalf of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU). The amount supporting our Eastern neighbours is systematically growing. The money can be easily donated via BLIK through the website www.blik.com/wspieramukraine.
From the first day of the war, from nearly the whole world people have been sending the words of support and solidarity with Ukraine and its citizens. Providing help is now a priority and one way is to get involved in fund raisers.
People have already donated over PLN 50 million to the special account opened by BGK – Polish development bank - on behalf of the National Bank of Ukraine. The money raised helps to protect the country and its citizens.
Polish Payment Standards i.e. the operator of BLIK system, initiated the idea of opening the NBU account. You can make payments to the account: PL91 1130 0007 0080 2394 3520 0002, transfer title: Support for Ukraine. The deposited amounts are not subject to any fees and are fully transferred to the National Bank of Ukraine.
You can also make payments via BLIK, on a special website www.blik.com/wspieramukraine. Up till now BLIK users have made almost 5.4 thousand payments in the amount of near PLN 950 thousand via this website.
