BGK and KUKE: investment loan for exporters already available

Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego (BGK) and Export Credit Insurance Corporation (KUKE) signed an agreement implementing an investment loan with KUKE guarantee. The agreement introduces to the bank’s offer a product for entrepreneurs interested in launching or developing their export activities.


The companies may allocate the funds e.g. for building a new hall, purchase of land, production line or machinery. KUKE guarantee secures the loan up to a maximum of 80 per cent of its value. Minimum loan value is PLN 5 million and tenor is max. 14 years. Current and planned income from export activities reaching 20 per cent within 3-year period is the additional condition.

The agreement was officially signed in KUKE headquarters by BGK Board Members, Włodzimierz Kocon and Radosław Kwiecień, and also Janusz Władyczak, the CEO of KUKE and Katarzyna Kowalska, Vice-President of the Management Board of KUKE.

“International business and cooperation is one of BGK strategy pillars. We support Polish entrepreneurs on over 80 foreign markets. This product is another element that will help our companies compete in international trade” - Arkadiusz Zabłoński, director in the Department of Foreign Expansion and Trade Financing in Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, says.

The enterprises, that are already exporters or in BGK finance their domestic investments that are to generate exports, may use the guarantee.

Taking our joint offer will surely enable them to compete in more and more difficult environment, as not many countries provide such wide spectrum of aid instruments providing support for investments also on domestic market. The offer is adjusted for both small as well as large enterprises, regardless of the company’s profile” - Piotr Maciaszek, director of KUKE Department of Insurance and International Cooperation, said.
