Milan, 10 Oct. Finlombarda, a finance company of the Lombardy Region, has signed a financing contract with Como Acqua for an amount with a total value of 5 million euros and with a duration of 6 years, assisted by Sace’s SupportItalia Guarantee. The operation will contribute to supporting the constant growth of Como Acqua, manager of the integrated water service for the province of Como, and its multi-year investment plan.
“The initiative of the financial company of the Lombardy Region – declares Massimo Sertori, regional councilor with responsibility, among others, for the use of water resources – joins the support action launched some time ago by the Lombardy Region for the development and improvement the quality of the integrated water service. In particular, in the optimal territorial area of Como, resources equal to 7.4 million euros have been allocated with the funds deriving from the ‘Lombardy Plan’ for the financing of 17 interventions with a total value of almost 13 million euros, mainly used for the optimization of the sewerage and purification segment”.
