Peter Stemper will take over from Gabriela Pantring as Chief Risk Officer on the same date.

Johanna Antonie Tjaden-Schulte will take over the new “Innovation and Transformation” unit with effect from October 1, 2024 in order to strategically drive forward the upcoming transformation processes even more intensively and to actively support the North Rhine-Westphalian government in its goal of becoming the first carbon-neutral industrial region in Europe.

“North Rhine-Westphalia is leading the way in the sustainable transformation, and in doing so we are relying on NRW.BANK as the promotional bank for North Rhine-Westphalia,” said Mona Neubaur, Minister of Economic Affairs and Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of NRW.BANK. “I am absolutely convinced that we have appointed the right people to the Managing Board to provide fresh impetus for progress and development and to make our federal state fit for the future. I look forward to working with the new Managing Board team.”

Michael Stölting has been a member of the Managing Board of NRW.BANK since 2009. “Over the past years, Michael Stölting has played a key role in shaping Germany’s promotional landscape,” said Mona Neubaur in recognition of this achievements. “He has many achievements to his credit; in his capacity as Board member responsible for Capital Markets, he helped to issue the first Green Bond of a European promotional bank and was instrumental in promoting start-ups in NRW. I would like to thank him personally for all this, and for the trusting cooperation. I wish him all the best for the future.”
